1. 1. Labels The label shall appear on the bottom of the plastic bottle or rigid plastic container and be clearly visible. This label shall consist of a number with letters placed below the number. The numbers and letters shall be as follows:

   1. A. For polyethylene terephthalate, the letters "PETE" and the number 1;

   2. B. For high-density polyethylene, the letters "HDPE" and the number 2;

   3. C. For vinyl, the letter "V" and the number 3;
