1. 1. Prohibition Unless otherwise provided:

   1. A. A person may not fish with more than 2 lines at any one time during the open-water fishing season; and

   2. B. A person may not fish during the open-water fishing season unless that person's fishing lines are under that person’s immediate supervision.

2. 2. Penalty The following penalties apply to violations of this section.

   1. A. A person who violates this section commits a civil violation for which a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 may be adjudged.

   2. B. A person who violates this section after having been adjudicated as having committed 3 or more civil violations under this Part within the previous 5-year period commits a Class E crime.
