Me. Rev. Stat. tit. 1, § 501 (2025)
State agency defined
PL 1975, c. 436, §1 (RPR).
As used in this subchapter, the word "agency" shall mean a state department, agency, office, board, commission; or quasi-independent agency, board, commission, authority or institution.
