1. A. Test Required.

   1. (1) For each election, a local board shall test the voting system components as defined in Regulation .02 of this chapter.

   2. (2) The test shall be completed:

      1. (a) For the voting equipment being used for early voting, at least 14 days before election day; and
      2. (b) For the election management system and the voting equipment being used for election day and for absentee and provisional voting, at least 10 days before election day.
2. B. Scope of Testing. Testing is required for all equipment, whether it will be used during early voting, in a polling place, or in the counting center.
3. C. Manner of Testing. The test shall be conducted as specified in Regulation .15 of this chapter.
