Within the time specified by law for completing the verification, the election director shall:

1. A. Verify all names;
2. B. Record the results in the format specified in the State Board's guidelines and instructions; and

3. C. Except in the case of a local petition:

   1. (1) Immediately, by telephone or electronic facsimile transmission, notify the State Administrator of the results, and
   2. (2) Promptly mail or deliver the signature pages and the written results of the verification to the State Administrator.
