1. A. This chapter applies to property and casualty insurance companies:

   1. (1) Domiciled in this State; or
   2. (2) Authorized to do business in this State.

2. B. Property and casualty insurance companies include:

   1. (1) The Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund; and
   2. (2) The Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Society of Maryland.
