1. A. To be eligible for approval, a curriculum shall:

   1. (1) Be submitted to MIEMSS;
   2. (2) Contain cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning objectives specific to EMS providers; and
   3. (3) Conform with, and instruct, current acceptable EMS standards.

2. B. EMS Board Action.

   1. (1) Upon the recommendation of MIEMSS concerning a curriculum, the EMS Board shall:

      1. (a) Approve the curriculum for a particular level of EMS education;
      2. (b) Approve the curriculum for a pilot program; or
      3. (c) Deny or revoke approval of the curriculum.
   2. (2) To maintain approval by the EMS Board, a curriculum shall be updated to remain current with nationally accepted healthcare provider standards.
3. C. All EMS Board approved curricula used for training EMS providers as of the effective date of these regulations are deemed approved by the EMS Board under this regulation.
