1. A. Each ALS education program shall have written criteria for:

   1. (1) Admission;
   2. (2) Frequent evaluation of each student during the course of study including evaluation of competency in providing patient care;

   3. (3) Student requirements for:

      1. (a) Attendance;

      2. (b) Educational performance including:

         1. (i) Attitudes;
         2. (ii) Knowledge; and
         3. (iii) Skills; and
      3. (c) Behavior;

   4. (4) Student access to program information including:

      1. (a) Fees;
      2. (b) Requirements;
      3. (c) Policies;
      4. (d) Procedures; and
      5. (e) Support services;

   5. (5) Selection of:

      1. (a) A medical director;
      2. (b) A program coordinator;
      3. (c) Faculty; and
      4. (d) Other necessary personnel;
   6. (6) Nondiscrimination and fair practices with regard to students, faculty, and program personnel; and
   7. (7) Review and improvement of the effectiveness of student evaluation techniques.

2. B. Each ALS education program shall require that each student wear distinctive identification during field and clinical internship that clearly identifies the:

   1. (1) Student's name;
   2. (2) Student's status; and
   3. (3) ALS education program.
