1. A. Each EMS operational program shall designate an Infection Control Officer.

2. B. Duties of an EMS Operational Program Infection Control Officer. The EMS operational program Infection control officer shall be responsible for:

   1. (1) Implementing the EMS operational program infection control plan under Regulation .03 of this Chapter; and
   2. (2) Reporting occupational exposures to MIEMSS under COMAR 30.03.04.06.
