1. A. If the Agency custodian decides to grant a request for inspection in its entirety, the custodian shall produce the public record for inspection:

   1. (1) Immediately; or
   2. (2) Within a reasonable period, not to exceed 30 days after the date of the request, if that period is needed to retrieve the public record and conduct any necessary review.

2. B. If the Agency custodian reasonably believes that producing the public record will take more than 10 working days, the custodian shall state in writing within 10 working days after receiving the request:

   1. (1) The amount of time the custodian anticipates will be necessary to produce the public record;
   2. (2) The reason for that delay; and
   3. (3) An estimated range of fees that the Retirement Agency may charge to comply with the request.

3. C. Any time limit imposed under this regulation:

   1. (1) May be extended by not more than 30 days with the consent of the applicant; and
   2. (2) Shall be extended pending resolution of any dispute that the applicant has referred to the Public Access Ombudsman.
