1. A. A person may not knowingly make or cause to be made any false statement or report:

   1. (1) In any application or document furnished to the Administration under this chapter; or

   2. (2) For the purpose of influencing the action of the Administration on:

      1. (a) An application for an award; or
      2. (b) Any matter related to an award, whether or not the award has been made.
2. B. Any person who violates this regulation, or assists another person to violate this regulation, is subject to the penalties set forth in Family Law Article, §5-594.7, Annotated Code of Maryland.
