1. A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

2. B. Terms Defined.

   1. (1) “Official school day” means the regular school day with a designated starting time and ending time as defined by the local school system.
   2. (2) “School buildings” means local school system owned or leased buildings.
   3. (3) “School grounds” means local school system owned or leased land that surrounds a school building.

   4. (4) Tobacco.

      1. (a) “Tobacco” means products derived from the tobacco plant that are smoked, chewed, sniffed, or otherwise consumed.
      2. (b) “Tobacco” does not include nicotine replacement therapy.
