1. A. Equipment used to conduct the emissions test shall be:

   1. (1) Designed to meet the equipment specifications provided in SAE J1667;
   2. (2) Approved by the Maryland Department of the Environment; and
   3. (3) Maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.

2. B. Maintenance records for emissions test equipment shall be maintained for a period of 4 years from the date of issue and shall include:

   1. (1) The dates of calibration;
   2. (2) The full legal name of the individual who calibrated the emissions test equipment; and
   3. (3) Any receipts for parts and repairs needed to maintain the emissions test equipment.
