1. A. An institution shall be approved by the Board before initiating an electrology program.

2. B. An institution seeking approval of an educational program shall submit to the Board:

   1. (1) A completed application on a form required by the Board;

   2. (2) A copy of the curriculum and course outline:

      1. (a) Describing how the program meets the requirements of Regulations .04 and .05 of this chapter; and
      2. (b) Providing for at least 600 hours of instruction;
   3. (3) A copy of the course catalog; and
   4. (4) Evidence of approval by MHEC.
3. C. The Board shall notify the educational program of its decision within 60 days of the day a completed application is received by the Board.
