1. A. The Maryland Statewide Asthma Coalition is established.

2. B. The Coalition consists of members recruited by the Director of the Maryland Asthma Control Program from each of the following organizations:

   1. (1) The Department;
   2. (2) The American Lung Association of Maryland;
   3. (3) The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Maryland-Greater Washington, D.C. Chapter;
   4. (4) The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions;
   5. (5) The University of Maryland, School of Medicine;
   6. (6) Representatives from local health departments or local asthma coalitions;
   7. (7) Professional health care provider organizations;
   8. (8) Other State agencies with expertise or an interest in asthma; and
   9. (9) Any other interested professional and community groups with asthma expertise.
