The Newborn Screening Follow-Up Unit shall:

1. A. Investigate each instance of abnormal screening results to determine the cause for the abnormal result;
2. B. Enter newborn infants found to have CCHD into the Birth Defects Reporting and Information System;
3. C. Provide condition-specific information and resources to the family; and
4. D. Perform ongoing evaluation of CCHD screening in the State.
