A quality assurance manager of a forensic laboratory shall:

1. A. Hold an earned baccalaureate or advanced degree from an accredited institution in:

   1. (1) Forensic science;

   2. (2) A natural science such as:

      1. (a) Chemistry;
      2. (b) Physics; or
      3. (c) Biology; or

   3. (3) A subspecialty of a natural science such as:

      1. (a) Organic chemistry;
      2. (b) Biochemistry; or
      3. (c) Molecular biology; and
2. B. Complete a training program as determined by the laboratory director.
