1. A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

2. B. Terms Defined.

   1. (1) “Board” means the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice.

   2. (2) “Conditions” means requirements in a public or non-public order that a licensee is required to satisfy which include but are not limited to:

      1. (a) Treatment and counseling for an emotional or physical illness;
      2. (b) Submission to drug and alcohol testing;
      3. (c) Abstinence from specified drugs;
      4. (d) Abstinence from alcohol;
      5. (e) Remedial training;
      6. (f) Inspection;
      7. (g) Monitoring;
      8. (h) Evaluation;
      9. (i) Supervision;
      10. (j) Testing of clinical skills;
      11. (k) Submission of written reports;
      12. (l) A demonstration of knowledge or competency;
      13. (m) Limitation of practice;
      14. (n) Limitation on the administration of specified drugs to patients;
      15. (o) The provision of pro bono occupational therapy to the poor, elderly, or disabled;
      16. (p) Obeyance of Maryland Occupational Therapy Practice Act, federal, state, and local laws; and
      17. (q) The payment of a civil penalty.
   3. (3) “Conduct” means behavior or action or a failure to behave or act that results in a violation of the Maryland Occupational Therapy Practice Act or the regulations adopted by the Board.
