This chapter sets forth the requirements for licensed occupational therapists and licensed occupational therapy assistants to apply and use electrical and superficial physical agent modalities as related to, or in preparation for, purposeful activity, with appropriate education to ensure the safe and competent provision of occupational therapy services.
