1. A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

2. B. Terms Defined.

   1. (1) “ADEX” means the American Board of Dental Examiners, Inc., or its successor organization.
   2. (2) “ADHLEX” means the American Dental Hygiene Licensing Examination, which includes both a written component and a clinical component, designed and developed by ADEX, or its successor examination.
   3. (3) “ADLEX” means the American Dental Licensing Examination, which includes both a written component and a clinical component, designed and developed by ADEX, or its successor examination.
   4. (4) “Board” means the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners.
