1. A. The certificate expires every 2 years on the 28th day of the certificate holder's birth month.

2. B. The Board may impose a civil fine, not to exceed $50, on a medication technician who:

   1. (1) Fails to renew a certificate within 30 days after the expiration date; and
   2. (2) Practices as an MT during the period of expiration.
