1. A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

2. B. Terms Defined.

   1. (1) “Emergency” means an event such as a fire, water leak, electrical failure, public disaster, or catastrophe which may impact the prescription area.
   2. (2) “Means of access” means the manner of entry into the secure prescription area.

   3. (3) “Prescription area” means the portion of an establishment for which a pharmacy permit has been issued which contains:

      1. (a) Patient records;
      2. (b) Prescription devices; and
      3. (c) Prescription drugs.
