1. A. An LXMO shall perform X-ray duties in a physician’s office under the immediately available supervision of a licensed physician or licensed radiologic technologist and in accordance with §B of this regulation.

2. B. An individual registered as an LXMO may perform X-ray duties without a license only if the duties:

   1. (1) Do not include:

      1. (a) Computerized or non-computerized tomography;
      2. (b) Fluoroscopy;
      3. (c) Invasive radiology;
      4. (d) Mammography;
      5. (e) Nuclear medicine;
      6. (f) Radiation therapy; or
      7. (g) Xerography; and

   2. (2) Are limited to X-ray procedures of the:

      1. (a) Chest;

      2. (b) Spine, including the:

         1. (i) Cervical spine;
         2. (ii) Lumbar spine;
         3. (iii) Sacroiliac joints;
         4. (iv) Sacrum and coccyx; and
         5. (v) Thoracic spine;

      3. (c) Lower extremities, including:

         1. (i) Toes;
         2. (ii) The foot;
         3. (iii) The ankle;
         4. (iv) The calcaneus;
         5. (v) The tibia and fibula;
         6. (vi) The knee and patella; and
         7. (vii) The femur; and

      4. (d) Upper extremities, including:

         1. (i) Fingers;
         2. (ii) The hand;
         3. (iii) The wrist;
         4. (iv) The forearm;
         5. (v) The elbow;
         6. (vi) The humerus;
         7. (vii) The shoulder;
         8. (viii) The clavicle;
         9. (ix) Acromioclavicular joints; and
         10. (x) The scapula.
