1. A. The Maryland Health Care Commission shall:

   1. (1) Determine which applications merit consideration of approval for funding by the Health Services Cost Review Commission; and

   2. (2) For each application recommended for consideration, send to the HSCRC appropriate information that may include the following:

      1. (a) A summary of the review criteria and scoring for each recommended application; and
      2. (b) A recommended priority order for funding.
2. B. The Health Services Cost Review Commission shall make the final decision on each MHCC-recommended application approved for funding.
3. C. Any funding approved by the HSCRC shall be implemented through reasonable rate adjustments as determined by the HSCRC.
