1. A. The executive director of the Maryland Health Care Commission:

   1. (1) Shall review each application submitted pursuant to this chapter; and
   2. (2) May seek the assistance of others in the review.
2. B. The executive director shall forward the results of the review to the Maryland Health Care Commission for its consideration.
