Md. Code Regs. 10.21.02.04
Criteria for discharge shall be established and shall be available for use by the utilization review committee. Discharge criteria may include, but not be limited to, symptomatic improvement; readiness for participation in voluntary, educational, or vocational programs; achievement of treatment goals; inability to comply with program requirements; or the need for 24-hour hospitalization.
