1. A. Within 30 days of receipt of an application, the health officer shall:

   1. (1) Review the application and required documentation for a health permit; and
   2. (2) Approve or deny the issuance of a health permit.

2. B. If the health officer denies the issuance of a health permit as set forth in §A of this regulation, the health officer shall notify the applicant in writing:

   1. (1) Of the reason for the denial; and
   2. (2) That the applicant has an opportunity for a hearing in accordance with Regulation .15 of this chapter.
