1. A. A crematory offering cremation shall maintain, at its own expense, the following tool inventory:

   1. (1) Safety placement tool measuring a minimum of 49 inches in length;
   2. (2) Wire brushes for cleaning cremators;
   3. (3) Brush with fine bristles for cleaning pulverizers;
   4. (4) Mortar and pestle;
   5. (5) Funnel;
   6. (6) High temperature protective gloves and heat resistant leather gloves;
   7. (7) Hand magnet and metal detector wand to detect and remove metal from cremated human remains;
   8. (8) Tweezers to remove nonmetal objects from cremated human remains; and
   9. (9) National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health certified N95 filtering facepiece respirators.

2. B. A crematory offering alkaline hydrolysis shall maintain, at its own expense, the following tool inventory:

   1. (1) Suitable tools for cleaning the alkaline hydrolysis unit;
   2. (2) Brush with fine bristles for cleaning pulverizers;
   3. (3) Mortar and pestle;
   4. (4) Funnel;
   5. (5) Hand magnet and metal detector wand to detect and remove metal from hydrolyzed human remains;
   6. (6) Tweezers to remove nonmetal objects from hydrolyzed human remains;
   7. (7) National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health certified respirators; and
   8. (8) An emergency shower and eyewash combination unit meeting the criteria established under the American National Standards Institute and the International Safety Equipment Association Z358.1-2014 (R2020) or its successor.
