1. A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meaning indicated.

2. B. Terms Defined.

   1. (1) “Board” means the State Board of Certified Interior Designers.
   2. (2) “Certificate fee” means the fee paid by an applicant or certificate holder, as applicable, in connection with the issuance and renewal of a certificate and the issuance of a reciprocal certificate.

   3. (3) “Design boards” means collectively the:

      1. (a) State Board of Architects;
      2. (b) Board;
      3. (c) State Board of Examiners of Landscape Architects;
      4. (d) State Board for Professional Engineers; and
      5. (e) State Board for Professional Land Surveyors.
   4. (4) “NCIDQ” means the National Council of Interior Design Qualification.
   5. (5) “Secretary” means the Secretary of Labor.
