The Secretary and the mechanical boards have agreed to average their direct and indirect costs, based on the calculation of costs performed by the Secretary in consultation with the mechanical boards. Based on these calculations, the Board sets the following nonrefundable fees as of January 1, 2024:

   1. (1) Original and Renewal License:

      1. (a) Grade 1 — $73;
      2. (b) Grade 2 — $56;
      3. (c) Grade 3 — $56;
      4. (d) Grade 4 — $39; and
      5. (e) Grade 5 — $39.
   2. (2) Application — $28.
   3. (3) Reinstatement — $112.50.
   4. (4) Letter of Good Standing — $50.

2. B. The Secretary and the mechanical boards have agreed to average their direct and indirect costs, based on the calculation of costs performed by the Secretary in consultation with the mechanical boards. Based on these calculations, the Board sets the following nonrefundable fees as of January 1, 2025:

   1. (1) Original and Renewal License:

      1. (a) Grade 1 — $82;
      2. (b) Grade 2 — $63;
      3. (c) Grade 3 — $63;
      4. (d) Grade 4 — $43; and
      5. (e) Grade 5 — $43.
   2. (2) Application — $31.50.
   3. (3) Reinstatement — $126.
   4. (4) Letter of Good Standing — $50.
3. C. An applicant for an examination or reexamination shall pay an examination or reexamination fee directly to the testing service chosen by the Board to develop or administer the examination, as such fees are established by the testing service selected by the Board.
