The Sassafras River encompasses all the waters of the Sassafras River and its tributaries east of a line beginning at Grove Point, at or near Lat. 39° 23.433' N., Long. 76° 2.450' W., then running 251° (True) to Howell Point, at or near Lat. 39° 22.287' N., Long. 76° 6.662' W.
