1. A. Upon notice of certification, an obligor may request that the Administration investigate the accuracy of the Administration's records regarding the support obligation and arrears.

2. B. A request for an investigation is effective if it is:

   1. (1) In writing;
   2. (2) Signed by the obligor; and
   3. (3) Submitted to the Administration postmarked within 15 days of the date of the certification notice.

3. C. An obligor may:

   1. (1) Request an investigation only on a claim that the:

      1. (a) Support obligation does not exist;
      2. (b) Arrears are inaccurate; or
      3. (c) Certification was based on a mistaken identity;
   2. (2) Submit to the Administration any documents relevant to the accuracy of the information; and
   3. (3) Withdraw a request for an investigation at any time.
