1. (a) When registered with the Administration, every bus operated under charter or for hire is a Class P (passenger bus) vehicle.

2. (b)

   1. (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, for each Class P (passenger bus) vehicle, the annual registration fee is based on the seating capacity of the bus, as follows:

      20 or less

      21 to 35

      525.00

      36 or more

      875.00

   2. (2)

      1. (i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, the annual registration fee under paragraph (1) of this subsection is increased by an additional $20.00.
      2. (ii) On or after July 1, 2025, the annual registration fee under paragraph (1) of this subsection is increased by an additional $30.00.
