1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
2. (b) “Administration” means the Maryland Energy Administration.
3. (c) “Board” means the Strategic Energy Investment Advisory Board established under § 9-20B-07 of this subtitle.

4. (d) “Clean energy industry” means a group of employers and building and trade associations that are associated by their promotion of:

   1. (1) products and services that improve energy efficiency and conservation, including products and services provided by:

      1. (i) electricians;
      2. (ii) heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning installers;
      3. (iii) plumbers;
      4. (iv) energy auditors;
      5. (v) carpenters;
      6. (vi) pile-driver operators;
      7. (vii) millwrights;
      8. (viii) insulation workers; and
      9. (ix) well drillers; and
   2. (2) renewable and clean energy resources.
5. (e) “Fund” means the Maryland Strategic Energy Investment Fund.
6. (f) “Program” means the Maryland Strategic Energy Investment Program.
