- (a) There is an Attorney General of the State, as provided in Article V, § 1 of the Maryland Constitution.
(b) The Attorney General's annual salary shall be:
- (1) $165,000 for the first year of the term beginning January, 2023;
- (2) $170,000 starting on the first anniversary of the beginning of the term;
- (3) $173,000 starting on the second anniversary of the beginning of the term; and
- (4) $175,000 starting on the third anniversary of the beginning of the term and thereafter.
- (c) The Attorney General is also entitled to reimbursement for travel and other expenses that are connected with the duties of the Office.
