Funds appropriated to use for a criminal apprehension and suppression initiative focused on reducing violent crime

- (a) For fiscal years 2020 through 2023, each year the Governor shall include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of $475,000 for Prince George's County to be used by the Chief of Police for a criminal apprehension and suppression initiative focused on reducing violent crime.
- (b) The funds required to be included in the annual budget bill under subsection (a) of this section shall be used solely to supplement, and not supplant, funds otherwise available for a criminal apprehension and suppression initiative focused on reducing violent crime in Prince George's County.
