1. (a) During a time of duty, a commanding officer may arrest for the period of the time of duty an individual who:

   1. (1) trespasses on a camp ground, parade ground, armory, or other place devoted to that duty;
   2. (2) disrupts in any way the orderly discharge of duty by those under arms; or
   3. (3) interrupts or prevents the passage of troops going to or returning from duty.

2. (b) A commanding officer may prohibit within the limits of a post, camp ground, place of encampment, parade, or drill that is under the command of the officer:

   1. (1) the sale or use of alcoholic beverages;
   2. (2) huckster or auction sales; and
   3. (3) gambling.
