1. (a)

   1. (1) The Commission shall have the staff provided for in the State budget.
   2. (2) The staff assigned to the Coastal Zone Management Program in the Department shall assist the Commission in the development of regulations and the review of programs.
   3. (3) The State departments represented on the Commission may lend staff or other assistance to the Commission.

2. (b)

   1. (1) The chair with the approval of the Commission shall appoint an Executive Director for the Commission.
   2. (2) The Executive Director serves at the pleasure of the chair and is entitled to the salary provided in the State budget.
   3. (3) The Executive Director shall direct the staff of the Commission.
3. (c) The Attorney General shall designate an assistant Attorney General to advise and represent the chair and the Commission.
