Md. Code Ann., Local Gov't § 17-306

Employment of fiscal agent

(a) The State Treasurer may:
1. (1) contract with a qualified Maryland fiscal agent; and
2. (2) compensate the fiscal agent for services rendered.
(b) The fiscal agent may perform administrative and investment services that the State Treasurer performs under this part.
