1. (a) This section applies to all counties, except Baltimore City.

2. (b) The governing body of a county may adopt rules and regulations to establish and provide for payment of bounties for the killing of:

   1. (1) crows;
   2. (2) foxes;
   3. (3) hawks;
   4. (4) minks;
   5. (5) owls;
   6. (6) wildcats; and
   7. (7) other similar destructive and harmful wild animals or birds.

3. (c)

   1. (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, a person who violates a regulation adopted under this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $100.
   2. (2) In Calvert County, a person who violates a regulation adopted under this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $500.
