Reemployment of returning veterans

(a) This section applies to the following governmental entities:
- (1) counties;
- (2) municipalities;
- (3) bicounty agencies;
- (4) county boards of education;
- (5) public corporations;
- (6) special taxing districts; and
- (7) other political subdivisions of the State.
- (b) Each governmental entity shall give its employees who return from service in the uniformed services the same reemployment rights as provided for State employees under Title 2, Subtitle 7 of the State Personnel and Pensions Article.
