1. (a)

   1. (1) In Prince George's County, the county planning board may appoint a deputy chief of the county division of the park police.
   2. (2) The deputy chief has the same jurisdiction, powers, and authority as park police officers appointed by the Commission.
2. (b) The deputy chief shall serve at the pleasure of the county planning board.
3. (c) The county planning board shall set the compensation of the deputy chief.
