Legislative Intent

Effective Oct 1, 2007Added by Acts 2007, c. 3, § 2, eff. Oct. 1, 2007.State of Maryland

It is the intent of the General Assembly to:

  1. (1) improve the quality of care provided by residential child care programs;
  2. (2) provide the same quality of care to all children placed in residential child care programs; and
  3. (3) develop a system that expands services provided by residential child care programs to counties that are underserved.
