Md. Code Ann., Hum. Servs. § 7-607 – Board of Directors--Quorum; meetings; compensation; staff

(a) Six members of the Board are a quorum.
(b) The Board shall meet at least quarterly or more often as necessary to carry out its duties efficiently.
(c) A member:
1. (1) may not receive compensation as a member of the Board; but
2. (2) is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations¹ as provided in the State budget.
(d) Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, a member may not financially benefit directly or indirectly from the activities of the Fund.
(e) The Department shall provide staff to the Board.
