1. (a) In this part the following words have the meanings indicated.
2. (b) “Applicant” means an entity that applies for a grant under this part.
3. (c) “Distribution organization” means a nonprofit entity that distributes food or equipment to emergency food organizations.

4. (d)

   1. (1) “Emergency food organization” means a nonprofit entity that provides emergency food services.

   2. (2) “Emergency food organization” includes an organization that operates:

      1. (i) a soup kitchen; or
      2. (ii) a food pantry.
5. (e) “Program” means the Statewide Nutrition-Assistance Equipment Program.
