1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
2. (b) “Applicant” means an individual who applies for assistance under this subtitle.
3. (c) “Assistance” means cash payments made to a recipient.
4. (d) “Eligibility period” means the period of time an individual is eligible for assistance under this subtitle.
5. (e) “Impairment” means a medically verified mental or physical condition that renders an individual unable to work at any occupation.
6. (f) “Program” means the Temporary Disability Assistance Program.
7. (g) “Recipient” means an individual who receives, or has received, assistance under this subtitle.
