License required to practice naturopathic medicine

- (a) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, an individual may not practice, attempt to practice, or offer to practice naturopathic medicine in this State without a license.
- (b) An individual who violates subsection (a) of this section or § 14-5F-30 of this subtitle is guilty of a felony and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or both.
- (c) Any individual who violates subsection (a) of this section or § 14-5F-30 of this subtitle is subject to a civil fine of not more than $50,000 to be levied by a disciplinary panel.
- (d) The Board shall pay any penalty collected under this section into the Board of Physicians Fund.
