- (a) A person who violates § 14-5B-17 or § 14-5B-18 of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or both.
- (b) A person who violates § 14-5B-17 or § 14-5B-18 of this subtitle is subject to a civil fine of not more than $5,000 to be levied by a disciplinary panel.
- (c) The Board shall pay any penalty collected under this section into the Board of Physicians Fund.
