1. (a)

   1. (1) A licensee may only practice under the supervision of a licensed physician.
   2. (2) The failure of a licensed physician to properly supervise a licensee is unprofessional conduct in the practice of medicine under § 14-404(a)(3) of this title.

2. (b)

   1. (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, the practice of a radiation therapist, radiographer, nuclear medicine technologist, or radiologist assistant is limited to those procedures, operations, preparations, and practices listed in regulation.

   2. (2) A radiologist assistant may not:

      1. (i) Interpret images;
      2. (ii) Make diagnoses; or
      3. (iii) Prescribe medications or therapies.
