1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

2. (b) “Health care practitioner” means an individual who:

   1. (1) Provides behavioral health services to a patient in the State; and

   2. (2) Is licensed in the State by:

      1. (i) The State Board of Nursing;
      2. (ii) The State Board of Physicians;
      3. (iii) The State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists;
      4. (iv) The State Board of Examiners of Psychologists; or
      5. (v) The State Board of Social Work Examiners.
3. (c) “Teletherapy” means telehealth, as defined in § 15-139 of the Insurance Article, used to deliver behavioral health services.
